Background
Alfredo Enrione is the Founder and Chairman of the Center for Corporate Governance and Society at ESE Business School, Universidad de los Andes and founder of The Circle of Corporate Directors in Chile. Alfredo has pioneered the research, teaching and diffusion of corporate governance practices in Latin America. Creator of the oldest learning program for Board of Directors, while collaborating in the creation of similar initiatives in the region. Chairman, member of the board and regular advisor to a number of corporations, family businesses, institutional investors, regulatory agencies and not-for-profit organizations. Founder and Chapter Chair of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) in Chile. Industrial Engineer and MSc. Engineering Universidad Catolica de Chile. Teaching Experience
Alfredo teaches “Corporate Governance” and “High Performance Boards” in MBA and executive programs at ESE Business School and has held visiting positions at The Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University, IESE, Drucker School of Management, Claremont and several leading schools in Latin America. He is the Chancellor of the International Academy of Management, the oldest management scholar organization in the world (www.theiaom.org)
